Fact: Sunday is better in the summer. VIBE amplifies the heat with the dance music that popped off this week, making temperatures (and BPMs) rise.
1. Steve Aoki & Chris Lake & Tujamo - Boneless
Dropping a preview about a month ago, the full release for Aoki's "Boneless" is finally out. The Dim Mak chief gets in the studio with Scottish producer Chris lake and talented house DJ Tujama to bring a very bouncy and groovy electro house original, perfect for bone-ing.
2. Phoenix - Trying the Be Cool (A-Trak Remix)
The fedora-rocking scratch wizard A-Trak has always been a fan of pop-rock band Phoenix, so it's only fitting he was asked to chop up an edit of the electronic band's latest hit "Trying to Be Cool." The progressive remix brings out the stunning vocals rather than muting them.
3. RL Grime - "High Beams" EP
RL Grime's hip-hop fueled dance tracks have electrified crowds, from his "Satisfaction" and "Love Sosa" remixes to dropping Rick Ross over huge systems. His 'High Beams' EP, featuring two collaborations with rapper Problem and fellow producer Salva, raises the bar as RL continues to deliver with quality music. Stay tuned for "High Beams" due July 16th via Fools Gold.
4. Gramatik - You Don't Understand
This tracks should be accompanied by a Cuban cigar and an Old-Fashioned while listening. Pretty Lights Music signee, Gramatik dropped the second single off his upcoming The Age of Reason album a few days ago. This incredibly soulful sampled piece will absorb you in a way that you don't need to understand.
