Eminem enlisted the help of Spike Lee for the upcoming visuals to "Headlights," the next single from his Marshall Mathers LP 2. Shot in the rapper's hometown of Detroit, Spike Lee and Eminem both posted photos on set of the new video, which Lee refers to as a "short."

A short film would be fitting for "Headlights," a song that finds Em apologetic to his mother and regretful of their severed relationship. It seems the Nate Reuss-assisted single will get quite the cinematic treatment as Lee refers to it as "historic." Eminem also posted a photo of himself and Lee on Instagram, with the caption reading "Spike came out to The D for the "Headlights" video... Coming soon."
Don't be surprised if this short film pulls at your heartstrings.
