Jay-Z said it himself: Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t. And according to Nielsen SoundScan, Jigga might as well have been talking about Eminem, who has recently been discovered as being the highest-selling artist of the decade.

According to Soundscan, over the past ten years the Detroit rapper has sold 32.2 million albums, making him not just the highest-selling rap artist, but highest-selling artist in every genre, even outselling the Beatles. The numbers are based on sales up until Nov. 1.

The rapper still has time to go even higher in his decade-worth of sales so far–he plans to drop Relapse: The Refill on Dec. 22.
