Evelyn Lozada Files For Divorce

The marriage is off.

According to TMZ, 'Basketball Wives' star Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson.

Ochocinco's wife of six weeks (shorter than Kim Kardashian's marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries) filed legal documents Tuesday, stating that the marriage was "irretrievably broken."

The separation comes after a domestic violence incident that reportedly occurred in front of their Miami home over the weekend over a receipt for a box of condoms Lozada found in his car.

The divorce documents state that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.

The news comes after VH1 had pulled the plug on their joint reality show 'Ev & Ocho' due in September and the Miami Dolphins had cut Johnson from the team.
