Dubbed “the new crack” by collaborator Dr. Dre, The New Royales, are experimenting with all kinds of aural drugs. Namely, today’s premiere of The Monks classic hit, “Drugs In My Pocket.”
The band, made up of vocalist Liz Rodrigues, instrumentalists Erik Alcock and Pranam “Chin” Injet, and Grammy Award winning DJ Khalil, have worked with Eminem on his latest “Survival” as well co-written with Pink and Pitbull.
As the collective gears up for a new mixtape titled, Freedom’s For The Brave, due out January 14, VIBE has a sticky indie edit of the old-school feel-groovy joint.
