Fabolous joined the debate desk alongside Skip Bayless, Cari Champion and Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's First Take this morning (Jan. 27), giving props to Seattle native and Grammy show-stealer Macklemore. When asked if he though the "Thrift Shop" rapper was overrated, Fabo saluted the indy artist for his unique style.
"I think he is a good artist...I think his style is diverse that's why its good too. I feel like he doesn't just attack one lane... it's different for hip hop," he said.
Loso said it wasn't surprising that the "Same Love" rapper took home four gramophones for the biggest night in music, attributing his success to his mainstream sound.
"He's more commercial and it fits the kind of music the Grammys celebrate and what they are looking for," he said.
As far as his own endeavors go, Loso recently filmed a video for his single "Thim Slick" featuring singer Jeremih off of his latest release, the Soul Tape 3 mixtape.
