In contrast to the upbeat bangers on the main stage, Photek kept it steady with a drum and bass and deep house set downstairs to warm up a happy handful of raver kids. With more room to dance, the fans crowding the little space twirled euphorically around Photek’s geometric laser light show.

At long last, 2 a.m: When Feed Me’s enormous Teeth LED display was revealed, the jagged Chesire Cat grin moved the crowd into a starving chant of, “Feed Me! Feed Me!”, and the wait was finally over. The British producer whose signature reads, “Grime", put forth a versatile set.
The eclectic brand of dubstep, sprinkled with pop, funk, hip-hop, and a dash of metal. With a dubbed out version of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” thrown in to the mix; let the performance serve as an optimistic narrative for the rest of Feed Me's 2013.
