Drake has been an avid follower of the Kentucky Wildcats for quite some time. Yesterday (April 5), he showed up to their Final Four semi-final game to cheer them on, where they eventually edged out the Wisconsin Badgers for a 1-point (74-73) victory, sending the No. 8 seed to the NCAA Championships. In true fan fashion, Drizzy headed back to the locker room to dap the players up on the big win (see video above). He also took to Instagram for a couple of congratulatory posts, one of which featured himself on the Jumbotron at the AT&T Stadium. The caption read, “That boy knew it was written.”

Meanwhile, an unlikely supporter also took to Instagram in support of Kentucky’s championship opponents, the UConn Huskies. Allen Iverson, a former Georgetown Hoya, shouted out his former 76ers teammate Kevin Ollie, who is now a UConn coach, for defeating top seed Florida Gators. With a picture of he and Ollie in their NBA heyday, A.I.’s caption read: “Congratulations K.O. this couldn’t happen to a better person. I’m very excited about you being in the National Championship game. I never thought I could pull for UConn, but I will this year because you’re there. Good luck and God bless you … #TheAnswer.”
