First Lady To Attend Hadiya Pendleton's Funeral

The First Lady of the U.S. Michelle Obama will attend the funeral service of Hadiya Pendlton.

The 15-year-old girl was shot and killed last week in Chicago shortly after performing at President Obama's inauguration with her school's marching band.

The first lady will pay her respects at the Calahan Funeral Home in Chicago along with Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

A $40,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest in her death.

Visitation is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Calahan Funeral Home at 7030 S. Halsted St. On Saturday, the wake continues at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at Greater Harvest Baptist Church, 5141 S. State St.
