After serving nearly two years in prison, Ja Rule has been released from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York.
TMZ reports that the rapper was picked up by his wife at around 10 AM ET this morning (May 7) and driven straight home. He reportedly will remain on home confinement until July 28th. Rule pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in 2010 and then was convicted of tax evasion in 2011. He served his terms concurrently and was released earlier then expected.
