Fox’s Adan Canto gives a colossal tweet which destroyed the Internet and made new fanboys out of mere men. Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past continues to grow in epic scale with the latest addition of Adan Canto. The current star in Kevin Williamson’s TV drama The Following alongside Kevin Bacon, took to Twitter over the weekend to tell his growing legion of followers that he’s “thrilled to be in X-Men.”

Included in the tweet is a picture of himself, director Bryan Singer, Professor Charles Xavier (Sir Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore). Together the fearsome tandem took in a Montreal Canadiens game, which is pretty rad when you think about it. Speculation grows as to which particular brand of mutant will Canto play. Right now, it’s mostly classified in Cerebro’s mainframe, but we can look at another tweet from a couple of days earlier that warned that, “I might turn into a ball of fire if someone pisses me off.” Who do you think he will play? Sunspot? Sunfire? X-Men: Days Of Future Past unites the classic and the First Class X-movie eras, and so far stars Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholaus Hoult and the aforementioned sports fans above. Omar Sy and Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage are also onboard. Bryan Singer’s cameras are already rolling as we speak, so expect the Internets to die again on July 18 next year. Props: Coming Soon
