Frank Ocean's Music Producer Says Chris Brown Swung First

Frank Ocean's Music Producer Says Chris Brown Swung First

VIBE Posted February 3, 2013

Although Frank Ocean recently said he wouldn't press charges against Chris Brown for the recording studio assault that transpired a week ago, Ocean's producer Michael Uzowuru revealed today that Brown did, in fact, swing first.

Uzowuru was with Ocean at Westlake Studios on Sunday, January 27, when the fight broke out, reports TMZ. Yes, the whole thing started over a parking spot. Ocean pulled up to the studio where an orange Lamborghini was parked in his usual spot, labeled Frank. The front desk told him it belonged to Chris Brown, who came out 10 minutes later with a "big dude" and a "skinnier dude."

Frank told Breezy, "You parked in my spot, move." (Quite, direct if you ask us.) Brown reportedly tried to extend a handshake, but Ocean refused to shake it.

Without warning, the "big dude" with Brown punched Frank's pal Chito in the face for no reason. "Then instantly Chris and the other dude grab [Frank] and try to jump him," said Uzowuru. "There's no doubt in my mind the whole thing was a set up."

Brown and the "skinnier dude" went after Ocean. They all fell into a "big fake candle display laced with glass," which explains the cut on Ocean's hand.

Uzowuru says Brown pinned Ocean to the wall and was trying to "beat the living s#$@ out of him." Ocean also threw jabs until they all stopped fighting, eventually.

"I don't know what type of demons Chris is facing, but I hope he clears them all and finds a new life rooted in love and light," Uzowuru said.
