First up is title-track "Roar," complete with a constant drum-bass beat that is laced with shimmering melodies, brooding synths and an echoing vocal, taking you straight to the lounge bar with a cocktail in your hand and a mind set at ease. Then things speed up with the more funk-based techno trip, "Brooklyn Hanover." Nicole's signature background drums go tribal, creating a more playful vibe that takes listeners from the lounge to the dance floors of Ibiza.
