VIBE Interviews Funkmaster Flex (Video)

Master spinner Funkmaster Flex has been dropping bombs on the streets for years.

It's only right that the Hot 97 DJ cleaned up nice for the first ever Global Spin Awards and says "it's never too late" to respect the DJ. "Outside of the awards, people always recognize DJs as being a strong force in the game," he tells VIBE.

Flex, who won the DJ/Entrepreneur of the Year Award, also had some advice to those looking o juggle multiple hustles. "If you want [DJing] to be a career, you have to kinda know more than throwing records on...and you have to have a good vibe of the game. It's a business and you could be in it for a very long time if you understand the business."
