Future Speaks on His Relationship With Ciara

Vibe / January 23, 2013

Looks like rapper/singer Future has his sights set on R&B singer Ciara. The two teamed up to record a remix to his single “Turn on the Lights” and also for her single “Sorry”. Rumors began to surface that these two were more than just friends shortly after but now Future has spoken out about his relationship and chemistry with the songstress.

“She’s a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that’s what she represents.” he said. “I love music, she loves music. And we love being in the studio with each other. We love being around each other and that’s just what it is. The chemistry is there. It’s amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile.” he added.

Future addressed the negativity that comes with being a celebrity and reaching a certain level of fame, saying, “The hardest part of fame and success is adapting to the people around you that’s changing. It changes the way people look at you from how they used to look at you. They listen to you on the radio, they look at you on TV and when people speak on you in a good light, you have a couple people who hold grudges. They are looking at you for what you was, and now you’ve become a better person and they don’t accept it.”

The Rapper hopes that his relationship with Ciara could turn into something more if they can get past the negativity from the blogs and media. “I believe at the end of the day, once the media passes over and all of the foolishness goes past, we gon’ be able to be good. And we gon’ be good. It’s only comments, rumors and certain speculations. As long as we have that understanding, no one can ever come between us.”
