Gabrielle Union Says She Tried To Shoot Her Rapist, Discusses Rihanna's "Man Down" Vid

Gabrielle Union applauded Rihanna for getting people to talk about rape. Coincidentally, Union recently returned from D.C. earlier in the week where she attended the National Advistory Committee on Violence Against Women meetings.

Union was a victim of rape herself. At 19-years-old she was raped at gunpoint during the robbery of the California shoe store where she worked. She’s been outspoken about incident ever since and even revealed that she tried to shoot her rapist but didn't succeed yet she is thankful for that. Read her tweets below:
