George Zimmerman has landed in trouble with the law once again following a domestic incident involving a gun, ABC News reports.

According to Florida officials, Zimmerman is in custody after a domestic dispute that involved his wife and father-in-law, Colin Morgan.

“There was some kind of a domestic, we know that with his wife and father-in-law,” the deputy police chief in Lake Mary said. “Apparently there were some weapons involved and threats.”

The news follows after reports that his wife, Shellie, was planning to divorce him.

Though Zimmerman has not been charged with any crime, Shellie’s attorney Kelly Sims says that George pulled a knife on her today after she found a firearm in their house. He allegedly then pointed a gun on her and her father following a verbal altercation.

This past July, Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder in the death of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin despite saying that he shot the 17-year-old in self-defense, causing an uproar throughout the nation.

The story is developing.
