The Goods: Google Wins (Again!)

As if Google wasn’t already having the best year ever, the company made another big announcement yesterday. Starting this month, Gmail users will be able to upload any files (including photos, songs, videos and even zipped files) smaller than 250 megabytes to their Google Docs account. And while that’s not a ton of extra storage space, it does allow you to leave the USB drive at home when you need to leave and access something at another computer later. It also lends some credibility to the rumors that Google will eventually offer some sort of cloud-computing storage system that allows you to save everything to a virtual storage space. Which would be great because all those Gucci Mane guest appearances are really starting to overload your hard drive, right? ––Chris Yuscavage
