The Goods: Reason #485974 to Visit Vegas: The 3D Experience

Still have no idea what all the hype is surrounding 3D? Need more proof that 3D really is the future? Just need an excuse to go to Sin City? Great! Today must be your lucky day. Because CBS recently announced that they're adding the "3D Experience" to the CBS Television City research facility that's located right smack in the heart of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. As if there wasn't enough ish to do when you visit Vegas, CBS is offering visitors the chance to check out exactly how 3D programming will work on television networks. You'll be able to check out content from ESPN 3D, which is still on track to launch this summer just in time for the World Cup, as well as content from Sony, IMAX and Discovery. And you can also see some of the latest 3D glasses that are set to hit the market in time for 3D's inevitable plunge into the world of TV.
