Gunplay Talks Signing to Def Jam: "The Ink Just Dried"

In one of VIBE's most entertaining interviews from the 2012 BET Awards Red Carpet, we caught up with Maybach Music Group's Gunplay. Earlier today, the Miami rapper officially announced his solo record deal with Def Jam. The new partnership comes off the heels of Gunplay's show-stealing verse on "Power Circle," off Self Made Vol. 2.

"I know I was on a track with a bunch of spitters, lyricists so I had to give em' what they wanted to hear," says Gunplay about his much talked about verse. "It just feels like all the work after all these years didn't go in vain."

Gunplay is currently working on his untitled Def Jam debut.
