Hardwell Documentary Looks Like Dance Fan Utopia

By the time Robbert van der Corput was 17 he had already headlined almost every festival and club in Holland. And he’s since been dominating the EDM-osphere with electro-gressive releases like “Spaceman,” “Apollo,” “Zero 76″ among other. Known by his stage name, Hardwell, has had a prolific 11-years in the making careers in DJ’ing and production. Next up, the 25-year-old superstar is bringing his tale to the screen, with a documentary due out October 17th, aptly titled I AM HARDWELL. Fans, get ready for the chance to get intimate with the man behind the decks.

For two and half years, Hardwell has been followed by videographer Robin Piree, who extensively filmed Hardwell’s exponential growth and ascension to fame from cradle to the main stage of Tomorrowland. The documentary features an orphic interview that gives personal insight on being an artist, the life of the party, and the constant struggle that this inevitably brings about.
