It appears more tests will be needed to determine the cause of death of rapper Heavy D.
According to the LA Times, the results of toxicology tests are inconclusive and it could take several weeks to find out what caused Heav's passing.
Coroner spokesman Ed Winter said last week no illegal drugs were found at Heavy D's Beverly Hills home, but a doctor had prescribed him a drug after the rapper had a cough.
"We need to see what's in his system," coroner spokesman Ed Winter said.
Heavy D began complaining about feeling ill Tuesday (Nov. 8) while returning to his Beverly Hills condominium after a shopping trip.Heavy D had trouble breathing at his residence and then collapsed. He passed away later at a hospital, authorities said. He was 44 years old.
