Las Vegas is usually known for catering to the DJ, or for having a pop diva take a residency at a hotel on The Strip, but come New Year's Eve hip-hop will rule supreme.
Las Vegas-based The Light Group is bringing in the top names in hip-hop and R&B to Sin City on Dec. 31.
John Legend will sing "Auld Lang Syne" at HAZE Nightclub at the new-ish Aria, while his old G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Common will countdown to 2014 at The Bank at The Bellagio. Born Sinner J. Cole heads to Sin City to perform at 1 OAK at The Mirage on the last day of 2013.
2013 breakout pop act Icona Pop and auto-tune king T-Pain also round out the bill at Bellagio's The Bank prior to the show, performing Dec. 30 and Dec. 29 respectively. Wale also takes the stage on Dec. 30 in Vegas at HAZE too, while Major Lazor will make bubble butts move on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 1 OAK.
If you like hip-hop and a party, Vegas might be the place to be on New Year's Eve for you.
