You may not have attended Howard University but you’ve probably hit up their homecoming festivities. From their fashion and step shows to their football game and International Yardfest, the University’s annual week-long event brings today’s hottest celebs out to party in D.C. where anything can happen. Just ask Drake. VIBE was on the scene last year to catch all the action, with appearances by Meek Mill, 2 Chains, Angela and Vanessa Simmons, Necole Bitchie, Drake, T.I., Pusha T, Elle Varner, and Lance Gross–just to name a few. This year, the Bison homecoming committee is raising the bar with Epic: The Saga Continues, which kicks off October 25, and is giving you the opportunity to be a part of the festivities as an act, DJ or host. Industry notables like Lowkey, Jae Murphy, AJ and Terrence J, formerly of BET’s 106 and Park, have served as host in the past. For those looking to serve as the master of ceremonies, apply here. Prospective DJs can also get into the mix with HU by sending an application here. All submissions must be in by August 15. As for those who want to take part in International Yardfest, click here for more details and apply before August 31. Press play below to get a taste of last year’s madness.
