Ice Cube Recruits Pops Witherspoon For Next 'Friday' Flick

Ice Cube needs his original movie dad in order to make the next installment of Friday a success, that's why he reached out to the actor Pops Witherspoon to reprise the role of Willie Jones in the next installment of Friday.

TMZ caught up with Witherspoon and it looks like all systems are a go, "I said, 'HELL YEAHHHH! I am ready to do this!" he says.

Witherspoon says nothing is 100% official yet but he's confident everything will be worked out.

Tiny Lister mentioned last week and he and Chris Tucker had already spoken with Cube about reprising the roles they played in the 1995 cult classic.
