MTV reports that the I-G-G-Y along with Sam Smith have been tapped to perform at the opening concert for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. The concert will benefit Lifebeat-Music Fights HIV/AIDS, a national non-profit that educates the youth about the prevention of HIV/AIDS.
The Aussie MC will also make her debut performance alongside UK songstress and "Black Widow" collaborator Rita Ora at the awards show, and raked in seven moonmen nominations including Best Collaboration, Video of the Year and Best Female Video.
