The "Murda Bizness" femcee Iggy Azalea stopped by Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" bright and early Friday to address all unresolved issues.
When asked about her dissolved Interscope deal, Azalea said it was her alliance with T.I. and management that changed the game. "[Interscope] dfidn't want T.I.P. to be an ongoing part of my deal, just produce one album," she said. "T.I. called my management up and (said) what do you think about waving the Grand Hustle flag?" After a month-long studio session in L.A. with the Kang, the 22-year-old signed with him.
It comes as no surprise though that a certain Harlem rapstress did sign with the 'scope: Azealia Banks. The Aussie hip-hopper revealed she never met the Harlem rapstress (who also happens to be a Gemini) who threw Twitter shots at the Aussie hip-hopper for her XXL Freshman feature. "She hated my guts way before that," Iggy said. "I can't tell you why."
As for love, the "Ignorant Art" rapper neither confirmed nor denied her romantic ties to A$AP Rocky. "If i were in a relationship ever in life, you would never hear me talk about it and it's not about career," she said. "It's because I believe some things you have to keep to yourself. Relationships are one of them."
She also admitted that Momma Azalea thought she played for another team. "My mother thought I was a lesbian because I would never bring home guys," she said only to reaffirm, "I'm not into women."
While her upcoming mixtape "Glory," is in the works, which Azalea says will be more hip-hop, there seems to be no set date for her album release. "I won't have one out till T.I.P.'s is out and he doesn't have a date."
One thing that is for sure, though: "I'd never do a sex tape," the Wilhelmina-signed model said. "I'm boring." We might have to disagree on that last part.
