Insomniac Announces Return of Electric Daisy Music Carnival To New York This May

VIBE Posted January 30, 2013

EDM heads, rejoice! The Electric Daisy Carnival is back!

Insomniac announced that EDC will return to New York for a second go-round on May 17 and 18 at Citi Field. Working in partnership with RPM Worldwide, EDC will be party rocking all over the nation with its theatrical performers, state-of-the-art electric installations and pyrotechnics. Tour stops last year included Chicago, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Las Vegas.

“Based on the tremendous success of the first EDC New York in 2012, there was no question that Insomniac would return to the loyal fans in New York who truly enjoy the multi-sensory experience that we create,” said Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella.

Two-day general admission tickets will initially be priced at $159 with VIP tickets selling at $299 before service fees. A layaway pricing option will be available. A limited number of single-day tickets will be available for this two-day experience at a later date. Minimum age for VIP is 21 and older.

Tickets go on sale February 8, 2013 at 12 p.m. EST. For more info, check out the official website.
