On October 10th, 1995 the rap world was blessed with a classic album Doe or Die from Brooklyn, NY’s legendary lyricist AZ.

Starting his career off by spitting a 16-bar verse of fire on Nas’ “Life’s A Bitch” cut off his epic debut album, Illmatic, AZ was engulfed in a bidding war for his MC services. Landing with EMI Records in 1995, he released his debut album with the club/radio hit, “Sugar Hill”.
