Interview: Size Records’ Wayne And Woods Talk Henrix Electro Collab “Jumangee”

/ July 3, 2013

Steve Angello knows “size” matters, especially when it comes to sound. The former Swedish House Mafia member enlists fellow Swede spinners, Wayne & Woods, to step out into the big rooms with their first official release on Angello’s Size Records along with Miami beat slayer Henrix. Because three beat heads are better than two, the duo has teamed up with fast-rising talent Henrix for “Jumangee” (out July 8). The song is a roaring monster that you’ll be playing like the game in that movie (yes, the one with Robin Williams), “Jumanji.” And yes, you might get lost in this whirlwind for a long time. Press play…

What is it about the Size label that makes its releases so well respected?
Wayne & Woods Size has always been a key label in the dance scene. Just look at the releases that have come out on Size, both in the past and the future, then you got the answer! The music speak for itself

What’s the key to breaking into the dance music market?
We got great teams that believe in us 100%. We also never stop working or take anything for granted.

Henrix, choose three words to describe “Jumangee.”
Henrix Big, sexy and energetic!

What can we look forward to next?
Good collaborations and loads of Wayne & Woods with Henrix tracks. It’s gonna be good.
