It's The Small Things

As we observe this Valentines Day let us remember that when it comes to relationships it is always a good idea to treat everyday as if it were a holiday.

Now ladies don't get super excited because I'm not talking about you receiving gifts every freaking day so calm down. I'm just saying if you choose to be in a relationship then celebrate the fact that you are in each others lives as much as humanly possible.

A great to Start is doing the little things for each other. Trust me the gesture alone will have a lasting effect. Here are some examples of ways to show appreciation towards your significant other without spending a dime.

Dude stop leaving freaking dishes in the sink for days and walk by them hoping that through the process of osmosis they'll eventually get tired of being dirty and clean themselves...they don't alright, your woman does that for in addition to a million other things for your nasty ass. Show some appreciation and share the responsibility around the crib.
Also don't be afraid to initiate a conversation with your ole lady. Ask her how her day was at work, and actually listen to what she has to say. You may find something new about her that can only enhance the relationship.
Oh and ladies, I haven't forgotten about you... For the love of all things holy,the super bowl, pro bowl, and all-star game are played around this time of year, please let that man enjoy the games without fearing that at the moment he turns on the tube will be the exact moment you just have to pour your lil heart out to him about what keisha dem done did at work.
Another thing to remember is when it comes to a man timing is everything. if you have something important you wanna discuss by all means speak your mind, but please don't crank that yada yada yada machine up as soon as that man walks through the door.
Obviously I'm being jovial about this topic but I'm very serious about not taking your significant other for granted.
You never know what the future holds so we must not take the time we have with our loved ones for granted. live in moment, live for right now, its a gift. That's why we call it "The Present" I'm just saying...
