J. Cole may have put a ring on his college sweetheart. Several blogs have reported that the 28-year-old rap star reportedly popped the question to his long-time girlfriend Melissa Heholt, who he began dating while at his Queens alma mater, St. John's University.
The official Twitter account of SJU's alumni also retweeted the message below, adding more fuel to the engagement rumors, according to MTV News.

While the Born Sinner MC keeps mum about the specifics of his relationship, he has mentioned his cuffed status on some songs, including "All I Want Is You," "LAnd of the Snakes" and "Power Trip."
Back in 2011, he was linked to pop's bad gal Rihanna but dismissed the rumors and said his girlfriend handled the ordeal very well. "[She dealt with it] like a champ," he told Hot 97.
Should the rumors be true, Cole wouldn't be the first rapper this year to propose. Big Sean recently gave his leading lady, actress Naya Rivera, a rock for her left hand while Future and Ciara are also set to wed.
VIBE has reached out to Cole's rep for comment.
