"Spring Breakers" actor James Franco sat down with Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show this week to promote the new film. During the interview, Stern grilled the actor on rumors that he turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan. The gossip began after the two were living at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles a few years ago.
"You turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, didn't you?" Stern asked. "Back then when she was a lot hotter?"
“Oh gosh. Poor Lindsay. I haven’t talked to her in a while,” Franco responded. “We were friends. I met her, I think through friends, and there was a moment where I was staying at the Chateau Marmont hotel because my house in L.A. was being re-done, and she had been living there for a couple of years, and we were basically living in the same place, so I got to know her.”
Without letting up, Stern pressed for confirmation or denial of the ordeal, asking "And you turned her down sexually?”
“I don’t want to, like, brag about it, and I don’t know how that got out,” Franco replied. “She was having issues even then, so you feel weird. Honestly, she was a friend. I’ve met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes...you don’t want to do that."
Stern also probed Franco on his current rumored girlfriend, "Spring Breakers" costar Ashley Benson, to which the actor simply replied: “Let's say I'm dating. I'm getting older. I would like a long-term relationship."
