Jamie Foxx may end up channeling the fallen orator of the famous "I Have a Dream" speech in the near future. Back in 2011, writer Kario Salem penned the script for a DreamWorks/WarnerBros biopic on Martin Luther King, Jr. (supported by his family's estate, at that). According to several reports, Oliver Stone has been chosen as the director and Jamie Foxx tapped for the lead role. Foxx and Stone worked together on 1999's football drama “Any Given Sunday.”
Back in 2009, DreamWorks acquired the rights to King’s story as well as the rights to his “I Have a Dream” speech. Unlike other MLK projects, the still-untitled film would be executive produced by Dexter King, Bernice King and Martin Luther King II. This should be good.
