Jay-Z To Help Renovate Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum

Jay-Z doesn’t go long without finding himself involved with a new project.

Recently, it was The Great Gatsby soundtrack and the startup of Roc Nation Sports. Now, the entrepreneur wants to join in on redeveloping Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum. Just two weeks after announcing he will no longer be with the Brooklyn Nets organization, Jay attended a meeting Thursday (May. 2) on Long Island, where the media and possible investors were introduced to four proposals to renovate the arena.

Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum will be vacant in 2015 once the NHL’s Islanders move to the Barclay’s Center. There are a few others bidding as well for the property.Nassau county who will decide who gets the property during in the upcoming months
