In addition to calling motherhood "the best thing in the world," Jennifer Hudson is excited about the busy month of February.
Beyond keeping up with her son David, Hudson confirmed that she will indeed take part in the Lionel Richie assisted "We Are the World" charity single.
Breaking the news over the weekend, Hudson told fans on Twitter "we are going to do 'we are the world' . it's the 25th anniversary of that. its a busy time."
Hudson joins a host of other gifted vocalists in the "We Are The World" compilation, which will benefit Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts.
As previously reported, celebrities are expected to converge at an undisclosed location in the Los Angeles are Monday (Feb. 1), where they will record the single.
In related news, Jennifer Hudson will return to the studio this week. Working towards the completion of her anticipated sophomore album, Hudson says "i'll be recording for my new album."
So far the album has been linked to Ne-Yo, Stargate and Claude Kelly.
