Jennifer Hudson Joins 'Three Stooges' Cast
It’s been quite a ride for season 3 American Idol runner-up Jennifer Hudson.
After much success following her epic role as Effie White in Dreamgirls and landing parts in other notable films, the blossoming star is heading back to the world of film as a nun in the Farrelly brothers’ modern take on The Three Stooges.
Miss Hudson will be acting alongside other big names, including snarky Glee cast member, Jane Lynch, who will be playing Mother Superior.
Jennifer’s role in the film follows her work in the upcoming Winnie Mandela film, Winnie. —Stephanie Long
