Jermaine Paul was crowned the winner of NBC's The Voice Tuesday night (May 8).
The former back-up singer for Alicia Keys brought home the win for Team Blake and gained himself a deal with Universal Records and $100,000. "I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that voted for me, God bless y’all, man. Nobody but Jesus, man, nobody!” Paul told the crowd. The competition was extremely tight with runner-up with Juliet Simms just 4 percentage points behind Paul.
The 32-year-old remained all about his business throughout the competition and it definitely payed off. "Winning would mean... the world to me," stated Paul minutes before he was announced the winner.
The two-hour season finale was filled with performances from Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum, the contestants and more.
