From serving as Drake's Would You Like A Tour? mate to snagging daytime and primetime performances on the likes of Ellen and Saturday Night Live, Jhené Aiko continues her success with a new deal with BMI for representation of the public performances of her music. Her single "The Worst" has crowned the Def Jam songstress the first female artist to top the charts with a debut single since 2008.
“Jhené Aiko has brought a new and fresh sound to music," said Catherine Brewton, BMI VP of writer/publisher relations, in a statement. "Her smooth voice and compelling lyrics are the perfect combination to fill a void in popular music"
Her major label debut Souled Out is due later this year.
