Joey Badass Named Creative Director Of Ecko Clothing
Joey Bada$$, the 18-year-old Brooklyn rapper celebrated for his lyrics and '90s appeal, has been appointed as the new creative director of Ecko clothing line, he announced today (March 1). Ecko, which helped usher streetwear into popular culture, has already developed a ProEra and Smokers Club line, both inspired by the young rapper. "It's more [about] me just taking what I like to rock," Joey told Fuse TV. "Just seeing what appeals to the youth right now and freaking it on some next creative, different shit... They're definitely taking my vision and running with it." Clap for him.
