Did John Mayer Put A Ring on Katy Perry?

After vavavooming in a cleavage-enhancing green dress at the Grammy Awards a week ago, we wouldn't be surprised if John Mayer did put a ring on Katy Perry's finger.

Us reports that Perry was rocking a heart-shaped piece on her ring finger, sparking rumors that she was engaged to her guitarist beau. However, the "Wide Awake" singer doesn't seem to be headed down the aisle a second time just yet.

The Daniel Gibbings-designed red bauble was the perfect accessory to her spunky Alice by Temperley dress, but only playing second to her man candy, Mayer. The musician recently sat down with CBS' This Morning, explaining why his relationship with Perry is different from those with his high-profile exes Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

"I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship," he said. "For the first time in my life I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. I really don't. I'm not in a high profile, I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain."

Perry wasn't really at a loss of words when she announced her divorce to comedian Russell Brand, who untied the knot in December 2011.
