John Stewart's Plastic Gun Causes Media Frenzy

The Daily Show's Jon Stewart came under fire recently after an on-air prank caused some Internet frenzy.

During Tuesday's boradcast, Stewart pulled out a gun after a montage of anti-gun control advocates speaking on the hot topic.

Here's what Stewart said after the camera cut back to him with gun in hand:

“I’m not sure what happened. I blacked out in the middle of that, and woke up with an AK in my hand…I don’t know…or whatever this is. I’m sure I’ll get letters about what this really is, which is plastic, is what it really is.”
