Jacksonville Jaguars star Maurice Jones-Drew was not charged after a battery arrest, according to Flor police.
The incident involved the running back and a security guard at a restaurant in St. Augstine. Jones-Drew allegedly struck a man after being put in a headlock, but Jones-Drew maintains his innocence after the battery arrest.
Jones-Drew's agent said: "As soon as an altercation broke out, Maurice exited the premises. He was not questioned by police immediately after, nor later that day."
Police say Jones-Drew has not been charged with anything, amending an earlier report that Jones-Drew faced charges for battery assault.
The 28-year-old Jones-Drew won the NFL rushing title in 2011, but faced injury in 2012.
