Justin Bieber’s at it again.

The pop phenom has been the talk of the blogosphere for his recent antics—from spitting at a neighbor to being photographed smoking pot.

His latest incident, however, originates from his visit to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam this past weekend where his guest book signing caused a stir. Bieber’s message, which has been posted to the museum’s Facebook page, was interesting to say the least.

“Truly inspiring to be able to come here,” he wrote. “Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

The note wasn’t received too well as comments came pouring in to the museum’s Facebook page but Maatje Mostart, a museum spokeswoman, defended the “Right Here” singer.

“He’s 19. It’s a crazy life he’s living,” Mostart told the BBC, “he didn’t mean bad. Also it’s nice that he made the effort, he didn’t have to come.”

Bieber has three shows in Olso, Norway this week for the European leg of his Believe Tour.
