Kanye West rarely runs out of things to say. Given his various
rants motivational speeches on his current Yeezus tour and radio interviews, 'Ye continues to babble on about being a creative genius, classicism being the new slavery and so on. But as far as new music is concerned, 'Ye confirms he's cranking out some fresh material.
"I haven't named my next album but I have started on it," he told Philly’s Power 99 last week. "I write down philosophies all the time. I'm just constantly working."
The G.O.O.D. Music chief also gives an update about the long overdue Cruel Winter LP. "We keep on going back and forth about it but we keep on missing the winter," he continues. "I'd like to have out another album by next summer."
And in case you were wondering about that Watch The Throne sequel? "We're constantly working, we haven't made any songs for it," he says. "My main focus is to get this product line out and it's gonna come out next September ... WIth this clothing, I'm gon be Pac. This line gon' be Ralph Lauren meets Steve Jobs meets Walt Disney meets David Stern meets every visionary through our culture. I'ma mix all of em, like how The College Dropout was, a mix of Roc A Fella, Bad Boy, Tribe Called Quest."
He also confirms his Miley Cyrus collaboration, compares Kendrick Lamar to Jay Z and that he "doesn't care" about KDot's "Control" verse, and reveals that he's executive producing Charlie Wilson's next album. Watch the loaded Q&'Ye above.
