Kanye West Announces First 'G.O.O.D. Music' Album

The tweets are always watching. Last night, (Oct. 19) Kanye West sent out a rare message

through cyber space. His simple announcement,"GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012," set off mountains of speculation.

We're short of details as of now, but expect more clues to surface throughout the week.

In related news, CBS announced that the rapper will be performing at the event along with Maroon 5 on Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. ET.

West returned fresh from Paris' Fashion Week earlier this month after unveiling his clothing line, Dw , dedicated to his late mother Donda West. He revealed the contemporary European/ hip-hop urban line to a packed house with the likes of Mary Kate & Ashley, Ciara and Lindsay Lohan, who were all in attendance.

The rapper-turned-designer also made a brief appearance with Russell Simmons on Wall Street this past week, donning a designer shirt, $1,000 jeans and a golden grill to the Occupy Wall Street movement.
