Kanye West is working on a new collaboration, but you won't find it on his discography.
Yeezus' latest collabo is in the line of fashion. The rapper is curating his own collection for Parisian fashion brand A.P.C.
Rumors of West's turn at designing for the label began to swirl after W Magazine mentioned he was putting together a line of "jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies for a hip French brand" in a June profile.
A.P.C. confirmed the news on Sunday, announcing that the "A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION" will be available starting July 14. The Instagram message included a picture of West's label for the collection on a pair of jeans. The A.P.C. website goes into further detail saying the capsule collection will be available July 14 starting at 10AM.
A.P.C., which stands for Atelier de Production et de Création, was founded by the Tunisia-born Jean Touitou in 1987. The line is known for its denim and minimalist structure. Jeans start at $235, while dresses from the women's ready-to-wear line average around $380.
Fellow rapper and West pal Travis Scott also confirmed the news. "When I first landed in Paris Ye brought me to APC headquarters to meet Jean. Seeing this collab come out after many designers tellin Ye he couldnt do shit is so fresh."
