Kanye West Never Called Kim Kardashian His “Beyonce”

When two high-profile celebrities make a relationship public, there’s bound to be plenty of rumors to circulate.

But there’s one rumor that Kanye West says is not true, and it’s the one that says he referred to Kim K as his “Beyonce.”

"...of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks,” West told Us Weekly, “especially the 'She's my Beyonce' quote. I would never compare anyone to my friend's wife.”

He continued, "Come on now, that doesn't even sound like me. If I don't say something in a rap or on Twitter, it's not true."

So then it may be safe to say that Kanye wasn’t exaggerating in “Way Too Cold” (previously “Theraflu”) when he said, “I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him.” According to a source of Us Weekly’s, at least, Kanye’s  been “genuinely head over heels for [Kim] for a while.” —Stephanie Long
