Kanye West's tussle with paparazzo Shawn Holley back in July was the stuff that memes were made of but it wasn't funny business as the Chicago rapper was consequently hit with a lawsuit. Now, 'Ye claims it was all in the name of self-defense.
According to TMZ, he reportedly believed "his safety was in immediate danger" and that he "responded to this assault by doing only those acts that were reasonably necessary for his self-defense ..."
