Fans can expect to praise Yeezus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards as Kanye West will be standing front and center at the Barclays Center for what is sure to be an eye-popping performance.
MTV announced that West will join Lady Gaga in the performance line-up August 25. The three-time VMA winner's last appearance at the award show was in 2011 when West alongside Jay Z offered attendees a first look at their joint “Watch The Throne” tour.
Following his performance of “BLKKK SKKKN HEAD,” West will enter the history books by tying Madonna as the artist with the most VMA performances, clocking in at seven appearances. The music network plans to celebrate West’s accomplishment by airing a full block of his videos and performances from 4-5pm ET/PT on their affiliate stations: MTV Jams, MTV Hits and their 24-hour music channel.
Additional 2013 MTV VMA performers will be announced at a later date.
